RPC shuts internet connection

I keep losing my internet connection after a few minutes
with a RPC error. I not only lose my internet connection,
the machine then proceeds to shut-down after a short
specified period. The system event log indicates the
following: The COM+ Event System detected a bad return
code during its internal processing. HRESULT was 800706BA
from line 44 of D:\nt\com\com1x\src\events\tier1
\eventsystemobj.cpp.
