RPC service

My wife has a laptop running XP Pro and lately when she
connects to the Internet she is only able to remain
connected for 5 minutes at a time.

This happens when she is connected to DSL (at her office)
or a analog dialup.

I have tried looking into this and have not been able to
find the problem. Obviously I am not looking in the right
places.

Any Help or ideas?

It appears her computer has been infected with the Blaster virus. For more
