RPC Server not available when validate trust relationship between 2 win2k3 server

You need to provide a whole lot more info.

Are there any messages in your event logs on your dc's in either forest?
Are there firewalls between the two forests and if so what ports are you
allowing through? What about dns. How do the two opposing forests resolve
dns queries about the other forest?

I forgot to mention one thing, the odds are you are blocking high ports.
Check out my website on trust between nt and 2003, it will guide you on how
to setup your dc's to a small range for rpc.
