I've got a lab environment consisting of two Win2k3 DC's (SP1), and one
Ex2k3 server (SP1). I'm not using any front-end Exchange servers. Is it
possible to configure rpc over https in this scenario? The Exchange server
is running OWA and is accessible on the Internet. It's using a native
Windows generated SSL certificate.

Thanks in advance!

Absolutley it is.
The only gotcha I think you may run into is the fact that the client
PCs need to trust the Windows root certificate (not the server, the
root cert)
otherwise it's as documented.

Awesome! Now how do i configure my PC to trust the Windows root
certificate? Do you know of any instructions out there?

Thanks again!

Get hold of the CER file for the root. You might even find it on the
root of the C drive on the sert server itself!

Then put it on the client PC and open it, select install and follow
the wizard through to make sure it installs into the Trusted Root Cert
Authorities area.

It really is a simple process.
