I have been facing a few problems for the past 1 or 2 weeks:

1. After my PC starts up and reaches the desktop, the Dial-Up connection box
pops ups and dials my default connection.

2. Whenever I am online for about 15+ minutes, the RPC is engaged and my PC
shuts down in 55 seconds. It is called by "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Isass.exe". I
tried
disabling the RPC from msconfig but it didnt work.

I tried every kind of tool, including the Sasser removal tool.

Thankz

You need to Enable the FireWall and install *all* Critical Updates.

When/if you get the RPC Shutdown message. go to ...

Start --> run
enter; shutdown -a
then hit enter

That should stop the PC from being shutdown.
