RPC fails!!

After i connect to the internet.. after sometime.. RPC
fails.. and system reboots.. i changed the option in the
service to "take no action" and "restart service" but
then the system doesnt function properly.. i installed
the OS again but that didnt help.. cud you suggest a
solution
 
make sure you do not have the W32.Blaster.Worm virus

take a look at the task list and look for the virus code msblast.exe. This
virus can lead your computer to behave this way.

For removal instructions you can follow the instructions of the AV people,
like symantec. Or you can keep us posted on that so we can further help you
