Whenever I use IE browser, My system receives an "RPC
error" notice and a countdown to shutdown and reboot
after about 2-3 minutes of browsing. Does not seem to be
activated by any other programs. Any way I can
deactivate or correct it? I tried reinstalling XP but
that did not solve it. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff Bell

Hate to add another "me too," but I have the same problem
that started Aug 11.

If you have seen the other similar problem reports, then you have surely seen
the responses also. Are you posting again because the solutions provided did
not work for you?

.
The solutions have worked. I did see another post about
how to keep the computer from shutting down while you are
trying to apply the fix, somewhere in here. There is a
story on msn.com about it now too. Good luck all.
