I have a network as follows

1 SBS2k3 server and 23 WINXP Pro workstations

all except for 1 workstations are working fine on the network, connecting to exchange server etc.
the one that is causeing me a lot of grief at the moment cannot connect to the exchange server when i try to connect i get the following error

"A system conponent, RPC, required by Outlook to connect to the e-mail server is not configured properly. For more information, contact your system administrator"

and the following is generated in the event log

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Outlook
Event Category: None
Event ID: 28
Date: 3/10/2004
Time: 08:29:42
User: N/A
Computer: SHIPPING01
Description:
A system component, RPC, required by Outlook to connect to the e-mail server is not configured properly. For more information, contact your system administrator.

i have checked the DNS settings on the PC and they are ok. I can only assume that the DNS setting on the server are correct because 22 other workstations are ok, I have also replaced the network card

so my question is how do you configure the RPC component?

any help would be appreciated

thanks in advance
