Row numbers

Row numbers are not consecutive (jumps from row 3 to row 8). To the best of
my knowledge I've never done anything (like hiding) that would cause this
condition.
 
Do you have a data filter on?

Regardless of what caused it, did you try unhiding the rows?

Rows don't dissapear, they are visible, hidden or so small you can't see
them and the difference between the last 2 states is fundamental to the
method for making then visible again.

Method one. Select rows either side of the 'missing' rows and right-click in
the shaded area and see if they come back

If they dont right click again and this time select 'row height' and set to
say 15 and they should appear

I forgot one are they filtered out with a worksheet filter?
