Hi,

I have setup a W2K Server as a router with the following setup:

One NIC 192.168.0.20, Netmask 255.255.255.0, Gateway 192.168.0.1 (This is
the IP of the gateway to my DSL modem, other side of the gateway is public
IP address)
Second NIC 192.168.1.200, Netmask 255.255.255.0, No gateway.

Computers on network 192.168.0.0 can get to the internet and see the
computers on the 192.168.1.0 network no problems.

Computers on network 192.168.1.0 can NOT get to the internet but CAN see the
computers on the 192.168.0.0 network no problems.

I think I am missing some sort of NAT for the second network to get to the
internet, not sure. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Terry

You need a route placed on the 192.168.0.1 box saying to get to 192.168.1.0
/24 use 192.168.0.20

If it is a Windows box the command could look like this:

Route Add -P 192.168.1.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.20

This creates a route to the 192.168.1.0 network that is persistent ( remains
after reboots )

If using RRAS on 192.168.0.1, it is advised to add the route via the
RRASMgmt.msc UI
