Updating to XP. I would like to get on the internet, and pay
one smaller fee. Normally, I can do this by buying a router.
One IP address. If I get XP professional, do I still need a router
for that, or can I just use my current hub. I've heard you can
put a second network card in the xp computer to bridge the
gap in some way. I'm not sure I want to spend the time on
that. It isn't clear in the XP information. It looks like I can
acheive my goal of one IP address, just with the hub.

You've heard correctly - you can use a XP box with 2 network cards and
share your Internet connection with other computers on your network. Here's
