I have a 2-computer network set up on a D-Link router
connected to a cable modem that has been working for
years. Now one of the computers does not detect the
network.
Before this happened, the computer was acting
very "laggy", and while trying to find the source of it,
my sister accidentally ended a critical Windows process
in the task manager. After she did that, the computer had
to reboot in a set amount of time, which it did.
- The computer does detect the network card
- The router does not show a light detecting the PC
- The problem is with the computer - Network cable wire
has been checked, and different slots in the router has
been tested
Help greatly appreciated.
