Route metric problem

Hello

My os is xp home and netwrk adapter is intel pro/100 ve.
I type "route print" in command mode to show route table and many route's
metric is 20 ,but normally it is 1.
I restart computer and network adapter .After that , this problem was not
solved.
Then I tried to update adapter driver ,but problem is still existent.

If someone can help me?

You don't need to worry about the metric , unless you have multiple
interfaces
and manual routes.

The metric will be choosen by windows

From a command prompt type "route -f" to clear the routing table. Rebot the
machine,...Windows will rebuild the table the way it wants it to be.
