rounding

i have a report that has a subtotal =[amount1]+[amount2]+
[amount3] for each line formatted to currency, however
the subtotal does not truncate to 2 decimal places
(eg. 10.60+0+10.40 = 20.99). Can anyone help?

If it doesn't "truncate to 2 decimal places", what does it do instead?
 
Still unclear. What data types are the underlying fields? If "single" or
"double", you might see this.
