Hi;

I'm having a small issue with calculating an average on a report. I am
taking the average length of stay for all of our clients. Each row on
the report has their length of stay on it. I'm calculating it by using
the following in the report footer.

=Avg([Years in Care])

Under the Format Tab for the text box, Format is set to General
Number, and Decimal Places is set to 2.... I am missing something
because I'm getting a wicked long number out of this calculation...!
Thanks in advance.

The Decimal Places setting is ignored unless you also use Fixed (instead of
General Number).
