Rounding numbers

In a table I can't turn off the rounding. No matter what I put in (2.375) it comes up (2.00).
 
Hi:

Check the type of field in table design. If it is Number check its Field
Size setting to be either "Double" or "Single" - these two types allow
decimals.

It sounds like the data type is integer.
in·te·ger (¹n"t¹-j.r) n. Mathematics. 1. A member of the set of positive
whole numbers (1, 2, 3, . . . ), negative whole numbers (-1, -2, -3, . .
.. ), and zero (0).
