Rotating JPEG Image

I am unable to rotate jpeg picture 90 degrees to the
left. I click drawing, then rotate or flip however next
bar is grayed. Please help.
 
PowerPoint 2000, right? Please always include that information. Otherwise
we have to guess.

You can't rotate images in PowerPoint 2000. PowerPoint 2002 does allow you
to rotate images.

Select the jpeg, right click, grouping, ungroup. Collect all the data with
stretch box (use arrow icon), right click, group. The rotate feature should
now be available.

This would work with inserted vector clipart that sometimes can't be
rotated, but not with a JPEG, which is a bitmap.
