Can anyone tell me how to rotate a chart by 90 degrees left when it is
inserted in a normal worksheet? Thanks

If you are asking how switch the x and y axes when you create a chart in
Excel, click on the Series tab at Step 2 of the Chart Wizard, and
exchange the formulas for X Values and Y Values for each series.

If you are asking something else, you need to give more information.

Thanks Jerry, but what I'm trying to do is put a graph from Excel into Word
on portrait oriented paper. To do this I need it that way up in Excel. I've
tried saving tha chart as .bmp and .jpg but they both pixellate something
rotten when printed and can hardly be read. I need to rotate the whole
thing, frame and all.

Thanks once again for you assistance. Steve

Try copying the chart as a picture (hold Shift while selecting Copy
Picture from the Edit menu) using the Picture option, not Bitmap. Paste
it into Word, ungroup and regroup it, and rotate the picture.

Another alternative, insert a section in Word which has landscape
orientation for the page containing the chart.

Thanks Jon, That worked a treat!
