Rotating a page

I have created a page in powerpoint (for printing) it is in landscape and
contains drawings and text.
when I change the page to portrait the text and drawings (all grouped
together) remain landscape, now if I rotate the it completely distorts the
image? why? surely I am just turning it around????
 
Jok,
You could select the group, cut, then change your page setup to Portrait,
and last paste back in that should preserve the group without distortion.
