Hi,

I have a dual monitor setup with one of the monitors rotated 90º. I used to
use nView or Pivot Pro on Win XP but neither of these will install on Vista.
Is there any other software that would do the job? My graphics card is a
Geforce FX 5200.

Thanks, Richard

I can't see anything there. Just resolution, colours, and the pictures of
the monitors. Not in advanced settings either.

I'm in the same situation as Richard. I don't see any rotation options in
display properties. Using RC1 Build 5728.

I have the same problem with my Geforce 4Ti4600 card.
After searching for a long time I discovered that the Nvidia Vista drivers
did not support my card, however it does list your card.
Are you using the Vista drivers? here:
http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/winvista_x86_96.33_uk.html
My drivers are the default Microsoft XDDM drivers which obviously dont have
any support for rotating.
Hope this helps you or anyone else having this problem.

Okay, I just installed RC2 (Build 5744) and now I am able to rotate my second
monitor into portrait using the free iRotate software. I have a GeForce 7300
GT and it's using the Microsoft driver. The Nvidia 96.33 Forceware will not
install in RC2 for me.

Also, after I updated I lost the Aero glass effects and I can't figure out
how to get it back.

I also have some pixel artifacts that appear in blocks along the bottom of
my screen. They come and go. This was also happening in the previous build
(5728, I think).

PLEASE DO NOT INSTALL THE nVidia 96.33 DRIVERS!!!!

After I installed them, and re-ran the performance scan, I had a video
rating of 1.0.
Uninstalled 96.33, rescanned, and my video performance went up to 4.6.
I have a 7600GS card.

Well here is the latest...

I removed my graphics adpater in device manager and then did a scan for
hardware changes and let it reinstall the Microsoft WDDM driver that came
with RC2. Immediately after that I had the Aero Glass effects back. Then I
used iRotate to turn my second monitor 90 degrees. It did the rotation, but I
lost the Aero effects and could not get them back even after putting the
second monitor back to normal landscape.

My graphics performance score is 4.3... whatever that means.

I still have the stray pixel artifacts that keep appearing and it's driving
me bonkers.

Remove the nVidia 96.33 drivers through Control Panel.
You could have just rolled back the drivers using Device Manager's video
adapter properties.

Apologies, I've overlooked these replies.
The screen rotation option is in Control Panel, Tablet PC settings, Display.
There you can select portrait or landscape mode.
