The operating range for that machine is 10-35C.
The information you need is on page 4 of the Installation Guide.
There should have been a copy of that provided with the machine, either
as hardcopy or with the documentation CD--if you don't have either of
those then you can download it from the IBM site in PDF form. Rather
than tell you the page, I'll give you some hints on finding it and the
reason I am doing that is that if you are going to manage an IBM server
you really should get up to speed on navigating the IBM site
<http://www.ibm.com>. I'm not doing this to be nasty, I'm doing it
because I wish that someone had done the same for me once.
When you go to that site, go to "Support & Downloads", not "Products &
Services". IBM used to provide detailed specifications in the product
area, but they no longer do so and instead you have to find that
information in the support area. Once in the support area you should
have little trouble finding the documentation for the 225. You'll find
that there are 28 online publications, some of them quite lengthy. The
one with the information you want is the "Installation Guide".
What is maximum tolerated room temperature to keep IBM eServer xSeries
225 in?
I have one in room where it is arround 35-50 degrees celsius... but i
need some document or web site with wich i can convince my boss that
we need AIR-condition for each server room!
