Hi,

The PowerPoint presentation I'm working with has a set background design &
color scheme which is used on all slides. I want to insert one blank slide
(no background), but whenever I insert a new slide it has the same
background as all the others. How can I insert a completely blank slide?
Sorry for the lame question, I couldn't find an answer in PowerPoint's Help
file.

Dave

Right click on the slide that you want blank and select Background. On the
window that pops up, check Omit background elements. Be sure you click apply
to leave, not apply all, or you will wipe the background elements off of all
your slides.

Once you have removed the background elements, if the slide isn't white, go
back to the backgrounds window and change the color to white. If your fonts
suddenly disappear, you will need to change their colors as well under
Format --> Font.
