It is a very silly question and a little weird to explain, but here we
go.
When rolling the mouse over a desktop icon or application toolbar
button I am not seeing the normal text that would pop up if you leave
the mouse hovering over the icon\button for a second or two.
I have mutiple machines that are doing it, but on 1 machine I can't
seem to find a setting anywhere that would turn it off, let alone turn
it back on. I have tried TweakUI, thinking it would have the Mouse
Hover option like PowerToys does, butam still having the issue.
This is a Win2k machine with SP4 and all other updates. I can't really
say for sure when it happened, the user of the PC came to me to fix it
so I am not sure if he installed anything and then it happened or if it
has been happening for a while. I do not see any random software
installed and it has corporate AV and has been checked for spyware.
Anyone ever have an issue like this?
