I want to know if it is possible to rollback from 9.0b to 9.0a. I recently installed 9b and ever since then i have been having problems in Everquest where my GFX will just shut down completly with no outgoing signal. The only thing that has changed is going to 9b so the problem seems to be realted to this. I would like to rollback rather than do a complete reinstall as EQ took 9 hrs to patch even over adsl from a new install

The rollback is only possible if the System Restore had created an "image"
during the 9.0b install. If you do have an entry in the System Restore for
DirectX 9.0a, then you may need to re-do any/all Windows Update. You may
also have to re-do the EverQuest updates (I hope you were able to download
the update files and keep a copy of the files locally).

As for correcting the DirectX 9.0b and you GFX problems, download the latest
drivers from www.nvidia.com and remove the installed ones. Then, install
the newly downloaded drivers.
