rollcage stage2

Hello there. I've got a fairly unusual problem.
I've got Rollcage Stage 2 and I'm trying to get it to work with WindowsXP.
When I just play it 'as is' it plays all the intro videos then crashes back
to the desktop before the game begins.

I downloaded a patch released by the company about 3 years ago and this
partially made it work. It doesn't crash BUT I can't play the game as the
'OnePlayer Game' option at the beginning is greyed out!! Only the
multiplayer is available which I don't want.
Can anyone please help? Thanks
 
Hi Jimmy,

Maybe this one is more recent? It's the 1.0a patch to correct the
issue of the game not loading: http://www.gamesdomain.com/patches/r/1705.html

Before installing that patch though, try right clicking the shortcut to
the game and using the Compatibility options to see if that helps. :-)

Thanks for the advice. Sadly it didn't work. The 'One player Games' option
is always greyed out.
Thanks anyway.
 
You're welcome Jimmy, and I'll keep this in mind in case
I find a new patch for the Single Player issue. :-)
