robot [update] posts

These robot [update] posts here in a.c.f are ridiculous.
Why not a website instead?
Imagine if everybody (with freeware websites or not) decide to post here
all the freeware updates...

With such a number of posts we have more changes to miss some important
posts/comments/freeware.

I think a.c.f. should be used to post "human messages".... to recommend a
product we like, to warn about spyware, to share experiences and so on...

Just my opinion :)

Dear JohnZong,


I don't agree.

Personally I use ACF very often to see which programs have been
updated, and thanks to the help of people like Tramp, CoMa, Gordon
Darling, Home Of Freeware and the rest, this has been made very easy.
That's also the reason why I post updates here, to help others who,
like me, find it easy to maintain their fw-collection uptodate.

B.T.W., I am not, and don't use, a robot!
Just manual copying and pasting here. Call me old-fashioned, I don't
care ;).

I agree with Arjan. I look forward to coming here each day to see
updates and new stuff available. A big thankyou to the people who are
doing the posting.
