Hi all,
I want to backup a local volume to a network drive resulting in an exact copy and thought robocopy might do the trick. Looks good but if I mirror or purge the 'LIVE' data to the "COPY' data, deleted files on LIVE are purged from COPY.. which is what I want, but I need it to dump any deleted files into say an archive folder first (or as it's happening). In case these files were deleted by accident.
Is there a way to achieve this? even if I have to run another process/sweep first? maybe in the reverse direction?
failing this, is there another utility that can do this.. possibly a sync utility that archives purged files/folders.
thanks in advance...
AJ
