Hello,
I asked this question in the microsoft.public.server.general newgroup and
they were not sure of a resolution.

I am having issues with roaming profiles running on Windows XP and Windows
Server 2003. The issue is that I have one computer that will not load the
roaming profile. When I look at the user status dialog box, it shows that
the user profile is of the type roaming but status is local and when I
attempt to change the status, roaming is shaded out. All of the other
computers have the same software. Could this issue be something related to
the settings in the AD? Is there anything in the registry that could change
this. Any help that you can provide would be great.

I tried starting windows in safe mode and the roaming profile works fine. I
have checked the services that were running and they made no difference. I
also removed the items from the startup list with no success.

Thank you,
Matthew Withers
