Roaming profiles.

Hello.

I have a 30 user network. Today a user tried to log on to another
workstation, but was unable to as the workstation could not find her roaming
profile. On her own machine, everything is fine. Another user was able to
log on ok, tried a different work station, and that was the same too.

I have checked the settings in active directory and all seems ok. Any
ideas?

Running win2000 on the server and xp pro on the workstations.

The default settings shouldn't give you this result, but this is possibly
related to the XP fast logon process and/or other XP logon policies - See:

Run gpedit.msc on the XP machine. You can modify policies in Administrative
Templates/System/Logon.
