Roaming profiles cannot be loaded

Hi everybody I've got a login problem the local profile
is loaded instead of ther roaming and I get the following
error message "Windows did not load your roaming profile
and is attempting to log you on with your local profile.
Changes to the profile will not be copied to the server
when you logoff. Windows did not load your profile
because a server copy of the profile folder already
exists that does not have the correct security. Either
the current user or the Administrator's group must be the
owner of the folder. Contact your network administrator.

Everything was fine yesterday, we recently upgraded to
sp4. Any suggestions please

I would check the folders for permissions/ownership as the error message suggests and
also run netdiag on the server that stores the profiles to make sure it's domain
membership is still intact and the network connectivity is good. --- Steve
