Windows 2000 AD with Win2000/XP workstations. Having some problems with the
roaming profiles...
1. Upon Log of some users profiles are failing to copy upto the
server..comes up with error messages
2. Files that are deleted from My Documents or desktop (part of the profile)
reappear upon logging on the next day.

Any suggestions as to why this is happening and how it can be resolved will
be very much appreciated.

Thanks

The exact error messages, along with any pertinent event log entries from
the servers and clients, would be of immense help in figuring the problem
out.

Followed the instructions from the article below and cleared the Allow
caching of files in this folder check box. that did not make much
difference.

There are no events on the server related to this error. But the client
application logs has these entries in the application section of the event
viewer......

The event description are the same as what appears on screen error messages
upon log off. The folder in this event is just one example...it can be any
folder in the profile.

Hope this helps.
