Roady,

I see that you have answered a lot of the other questions posted on this board. Apparently, "you are the man!" If you have time I could really use your help.

I have Outlook 98 running on Windows 98. Here's my problem...

You know how when there is an email address in a document or on a web page and it is underlined or appears in blue font, normally when you click on it, a new mail message from Outlook will open with the email address alreay in the To: section. That use to work fine on my system, but something has changed. Now when I click on an email link, another instance of outlook opens up, not a new email message ready to write in.

I have disabled all pop-up blockers that I am aware of... no help.

This is very annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
ksb

Hi KSB,

Thanks for the trust in me! I indeed answer a great amount of posts here but
there a lot of MVP's and other people here as well that deserves the
credits! ;-)

Anyway check the following;
-Is in Control Panel-> Internet Options-> Programs the default mail program
Outlook 98?
-What happen when you use Start-> Run and type: mailto:[email protected]
