RoadRunner trouble

I just had Roadrunner high speed cable connected today. I
am connected just fine(I called them and they had me ping
a few sites). However, I cannot browse a all. When i try
to open internet explorer it tells me that the page
cannot be opened offline and I need to connect. Can
anyone help?
