Ron

Hello, group,

I don't know if I'm in the right group or not, so if I'm
not, I hope someone will redirect me.

When I boot up my computer a file called rnaapp
automatically appears in the box that pops up when I hit
cntrl-alt-delete one time. This is the box that shows what
programs are running.

I think this rnaapp file has something to do with IE
running in the background. When I try to log onto the
Internet, I get a screen that says Page Cannot be
Displayed, as though I'm trying to log on to the Net
twice.

I need to reset something so that rnaapp does not
automatically run on boot-up. Am I making sense? Can
anyone give me a clue?

Thank you,

Ron

Hi Ron :-)

It is used for Dial-up internet. You did not mention the version of Windows
you are using, but, here is some information on this error that might help.

Thanks for trying to help. None of those error messages
relates to my problem. Again, the rnaapp is already active
when I boot up, and if I try to connect to the Net, I get
a screen that says, at the top, "Page cannot be
displayed." It's not what you'd call a traditional error
message. I just need a way to boot up my computer without
rnaapp loading. Any other ideas?

Thanks again,

Ron
