rmemory card readed

I cant seem to figure out how to get the photos form my memory card on to the
computer? I have the memory card in the reader .
Please help--

the card reader should show up as
an enabled device in your system/hardware control panel.
if not then do a hardware search or install the required drivers.
if unable to locate one or the device is broken, then
a generic multcard reader will work with microsoft's
generic card reader driver.

afterwards transferring pics via file explorer
will be as easy as with any files on the hd.

Go to My Computer and the reader
should show up as one or more
Removable Disks...

Clicking the one that corresponds to
your particular memory card will open
the folder that contains the images.

Just copy/paste or drag/drop the files
to a folder on your hard drive.
