OH YA she is telling us how lousy Roxio is in XP...so I agree with
the post.

And I see little difference, I have both and Roxio works great on two of my
burners, but is a disaster on one of them. Nero works great on the system
Roxio is a disaster, but has big problems running In CD [Nero's equlivint of
Direct CD]. Your biased opinion does no one any good as at this point. I
have found all XP reputable; compatible CD burning software is pretty stable
and the software lite versions included with the CD burner should give a a
clue what manufacturer the hardware will be the most developed for..>
If the burner shipped with Nero, update to nero, it Easy CD creator, then
that would be your choice.
All this Nero is................................ fill in the blank An Roxio
is .....................................fill in the blank is pure BS and no
one benefitts from this mentality.

I was asking for help and comments. Vulgarity for any
reason on a public group is totally idiotic. Sorry for
any inconvenience I caused anyone with my stupididy. And
thanks to those that did try to help. I have learned a
lesson.........I won't try this again.

Mike you disappoint me......If you do a little research in most of the
newsgroups on which burning products work and do not work well and which one
they are most unsatisfied with you will see it is ROXIO!!!!......If they did
stay away from this junk and burned with Nero the troubles would only be a
fraction of what you get from Ezcd........period....sheesh

You should look around, I don't see that many posts complaining about either
anymore. The ones I do see get "opinions" from people like you with no first
hand experience with the new versions of ECDC. Just biased opinions not
actual experience.

sheese 8-)

Thinking I may have been mistaken posting about the lack of posts with
problems from either NERO or ROXIO from my memory, I did do some very simple
research in this newsgroup [general]. I found most of the inquires was for a
recommendation, not a problem. I also found a lot of biased answers based on
older versions of ECDC [when they were having problems] and a lot more
problems with the newer version of Nero in comparison to Roxio. Seems the
table has turned. But at under 150 posts [about the average posts in 20
minutes] in the general newsgroup; for either Nero or Roxio, I would say
they both have a pretty good burning application. I own multiple copies of
both, and feel both are worth what I paid for them.
The point I want to make is both burning applications are quite capable and
mature at this point and there will always be one that has the edge over the
other; either in reality or cult following. I am and will always be suspect
when I see a post stating things like "this is garbage", "wouldn't let the
*****software anywhere near my system", etc. without some relevant reason to
back up the statement.
When someone asks for an opinion, they want a valid opinion of the software
as it is now. Either say I suggest such or such without comment or when you
comment; don't just bash, say why. Validate your reason. If your experience
with the software is not hands on, state it is not hands on.

<shakes head> 8-)

Sorry if I am wrong assuming you don't have hands on experience, but that is
what you convey.
