Not sure what has changed, but I'm not able to access my
RIS server from a client. The last thing I did was upload
a new image and test it. That worked two weeks ago, now
I'm not able to find the RIS server. I have DHCP and RIS
on seperate servers. It finds the DHCP server, assigns an
IP to the client and then dies when it tries to access the
RIS server.
First thing I checked was whether the RIS server was
authorized on the DHCP server. It wasn't so I authorized
it, that got rid of the DHCPserver errors on the RIS side.
I've run "risetup -check" and everything seems to be fine.
What else can I check?
Carlton.
