I am getting an error on my RIS clients PXE-E32: TFTP Timeout. The
client will receive an IP address from the DHCP server. This only
happens on some of my PC's. Pretty much all of the ones that boot to
the network card. I was able to get an old PC to boot from a RIS boot
disk however.

I am not able to boot a new PC HP DX2200 but am able to boot an old
Dell Optiplex GX100 with a boot disk.

At one time I was able to boot all of these but I moved my work area
to a different network jack and now it doesn't work. I tried to boot
from the old network jack and now that doesn't work either. I am not
too sure where to go from here.

I am a newbie at using RIS so hopefully someone can point me in the
right direction.

Thank you

Now I just tried to boot another older Compaq deskpro and that also
failed. I got a PXE-E53: No boot file name received from BINL, DHCP,
or BOOTP.

Then I tried to boot to the RIS boot disk with the same PC and it
booted right up to the OS Chooser and I was ablt to select an image.

I don't get it.
