I have installed RIS on a Windows 2003 server. We have currently had RIS on
another server (Windows 2000). The install went through and the IP address
was registered in DHCP (same IP address that was on the previous RIS
server). How long should it take for RIS to be ready to the machines? I
cannot get a machine to get an address now when trying to boot off the
network.

If the client recives an IP-adress or not has nothing to do with RIS, make
sure your DHCP Server is up and running. DHCP is a component requied by RIS.

and bootup with the 2003 RIS box running the clients do not receive an
IP address. Please help!!!
