I'm attempting to set up RIS with some a7n2ss motherboards. I've added
necessary changes to .sif files and added the $oem$ directories as noted in
other posts in this ng. Still no go with unidentified network adapter.
Using a 3 com I can get RIS to work. What I've noticed with nVidia and
oem drivers: W2k identifies network adapter as "NVIDIA nForce MCP
Networking Adapter" and the driver is provided by NVIDIA (signed).
However, on the oem cd the .sys is rt18139.sys (Realtech?) Is this
confusing the RIS setup? Anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed?
Thanks, Rick Bonanno
