RIS images on multiple servers

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to place different RIS images on individual RIS servers. I would like allow users to select different OS images and to use a referrral server to redirect traffic to the appropriate server.

If you have more than one RIS server on a subnet then you have to configure
each RIS server to only respond to specific clients - so each client can
only talk to a specific RIS server. Otherwise its a free for all as to which
RIS server responds to which client.

But why would you put different RIS images on different RIS servers? Unless
you have disk space problems I can't imagine why you can't put all the RIS
images on one server? I have W2K Pro, WinXP and Win2003 all on the same RIS
server.

Yes that is exactly the case - disk space. Furthermore, the implementation
would allow help towards future needs when we need more servers but dont wish to match the disk requirements of the first machine.

Is there no other way then the pre-staging scenario described? I am
currently looking at the [OSChooser] section of the RIS .sif file, does
anyone have experience manipulating server paths that this section
describes?
