We had a machine that was having problems booting to the RIS server, so we
took its hard drive and installed it to another computer. From the second
computer we booted to RIS and downloaded an image. On the first reboot,
after the file copy segment of the RIS process, we installed the hard drive
back into the first machine and completed the setup. Unfortunately, now
when we boot to RIS on the second computer, it shows the first computers
name for the image. So the first computer is now owner of the GUID that RIS
is trying to assign to the second computer. Is there any way to get out of
this situation? Is there a way to reset the GUID of the first computer?
TIA
