Hello. I'm doing volunteer work for a non-profit and am looking for a way to
simplify computer installations. As all computers used are donated, they
have different hardware and come with their own license. I'm planning to use
riprep to do remote installations on the computers (several campuses) with an
unattend file. My question is, is there some way to have the unattended
install look at some sort of centralized list of available licenses (aka
product id keys, CALs, or whatever you want to call them) and use one that is
not already in use? We want to make sure we don't accidently use the same
license on more than one computer. I was thinking of either using the W2k
licensing server or even a text file that I can type in license numbers when
a new computer is donated, but I don't know how to get the install to use one
of these numbers. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.
