When I right hand click on a file in the All Programs menu I get the usual
Open
Run as
Open with , etc...
but I also get two copies of
compress to zip
compress to Reg1Aid.zip
and another 6 entries all saying compress to... this is repeated twice so I
have 16 entries I want to remove.
I have just hard my hard disk replaced so don't know how they got there as
an engineer set it up whilst I was at work.
Can anyone advise how to remove unwanted entries from the right hand click
menu?

Thanks

Steve

You might want to try uninstalling the compression program. It is either
WinRAR or WinZip. They should be located in the Add/Remove programs in the
control panel. Once you uninstall the compression program it should remove
the entries, and then you can reinstall the software.

It sounds like that engineer may have installed some kind of third party
compression program. If you do not want to use this program, go to Add and
Remove Software in Control Panel and find/uninstall the program.
