Right clicl on a folder does not respond

Like the subject says. I get the hourglass when I right click on any folder.
It just does not respond. When I right click on a file I get the usual menu.
This happened this morning. Coincidentally AVG found and deleted
BackDoor.Hackarmy. I have SP2 installed. What to do?

Do a registry restore. I can't exactly tell how this is done in XP,
though. All windowses since 98 store the registry settings of the last
five days. You should choose a date from before the infection, of
course.

And don't believe any mails or messages that tell wild stories about
presidents being shot, or somesuch, containing a link, "here is the
proof" (click here to install your favourite trojan)
