Right clicking - properties

Recently whenever I right click and than properties an icon in windows explorer, it takes over 1 minute for the properties message screen to appear. If I do this to any of the icons (shortcuts) on my desktop, it shows up immediately
What would cause this to happen

This could be caused by a firewall configuration issue:
