In jacko <

My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:
this causes a temporay shut down of windows explorer. the error
message relates to kernell32.dll
the system is very stabe otherwise. I have fireewall, norton security,
adaware and reg cleaners. regular defrags etc. any ideas anyone, it's
just gettin annoying now
The first question that springs to mind is, "Well, what would be loading or
showing on a right click in that menu that's not native to the operating
system." Starting there is where I'd debug if I were in your shoes.
Basically the question is, "What software - probably music editing or
playing - is embedded with the right click menu when you click on a music
file?" Depending on the software I'd consider an update or uninstalling the
application and manually digging the registry entries out by the roots if
they didn't remove with add/remove process. Other than that you can try
running explorer as a separate process to see if that helps.
