Brian

How can you add or remove the right click options on the
start button. I would like to add my own shortcuts there,
and delete a few that were added by software installation.

TIA

Brian

I still do not understand how this is accomplished, I am
not familiar with the file types dialoge

Brian

Brian,

Open My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > File Types
"File Folders" > Advanced > New

After you're done adding menu items in it, perform this:
As David Candy says "Type in regsvr32 /i in the RUN box".

David: Missed this point? :o)

Hi Brian,

Your message is a bit vague. Generally, the right click context menu is a
catch all for added software, etc depending on what is right clicked.
However, the Start button, right click isn't.

As David mentioned, this has to do with Directory. In simple terms:

Add a Folder to the Start Button - Right Click (Line 124)

In your mvps.org mail account, David? If so, you cud avoid giving ur email or modify it in headers. My hotmail account was almost gone [100% usage overnight when the Swen virus issue occurred] and I added "junk entry" to my email address here in NGs. And Hotmail's Junk Filter is really good compared to others. Believe me, I dint get a single virus email after that. :o)
