Right Click popup box and program menu drop downs in gray. Not whi

Hi,
I have some problems with My Windows XP Pro I installed a few days ago.
It has all updates from the Microsoft update center etc.

1. When I am at the XP main screen when I right click on my mouse the little
popup menu
is now displayed in gray instead of white as it usually is. Also in
programs when I choose options such as file,
edit, view they are in grey also instead of white.
How can I change these right click popup menus and program drop down choices
back to a white background?

Rightclick the desktop, Properties, Appearance tab, advanced button, 'Item'
drop box set to 'Menu' , item > color
