Right-Click Open With (Notepad) triggers script block.

Hi,
I would have searched the groups first to see if this has
already been reported, but sadly the search facility is
down currently.

I have VS.NET 2003 installed, and if I select a file with a
..vb extension and choose to open with notepad, it informs
me that the script has been blocked, then acter allowing
it, it loads the file into VS.NET not into notepad. Once
this has happened for the first time with that particular
file, any subsequent attempts succeed in opening into
notepad with no messages. Just thought you may like to know.
Regards,
Kurt Sharp.

Thanks - this has been reported, and shoukl be well on the road to being
fixed.

You should also know that there is a significant bug in script
execution--when an unknown script is first executed, and you are prompted to
allow or block that execution--the script will execute in the folder context
of \system32, rather than the expected context of the scripts folder
location. This happens only for this first execution--once approved,
subsequent executions will have the expected folder context.
